'Dite's Decadent Delights, Tuesday

Raven was a little reluctant to return to 'Dite's shop for work, and just a little fearful to peek into the back room and make sure that it wasn't a kinky dungeon again. But everything seemed normal (as normal as Decadent Delights could be), so she settled behind the counter to study. The music was very nice, at least. Well, the first few times it played. The repetition was beginning to become annoying.

Decadent Delights was open. Mistress Raven was assuredly not in.

'Dite entered the shop from the front door, just for a novelty, carrying a basket, and wearing, besides her jeans and designer sweatshirt, a very big smirk. Which. . . probably wasn't going away any time soon.

"Oh, Raaaaven . . . have you checked the store voice mail yet this morning?"

Raven turned very very red. "No," she said. "I have not."

"Oh, you really should, there are several messages for you. From Steve, from Carl, Ted, Randy . . . " Yep, still smirking.

Setting the basket aside, she leaned on the counter. "Did someone have fun this weekend?"

Raven wasn't sure who those men were but was sure she didn't want to know. "I was not myself," she murmured. "I am not certain who that person was." Someone who would've been delighted to use an employee discount in the store, no doubt.

And probably did! Yep, still smirking.

'Dite laughed. "Don't worry, wasn't just you. Lots of people went a little crazy this weekend. I suppose the island was bored and just wanted to watch a little soap opera or something." She paused. "And at least you didn't end up pregnant with your half-brother's child or something?"

Raven's eyes got wide. "No, I did not," she said. "And you were yourself for the weekend?" Lucky. "I am sorry I used your back room for...." She made a flailing hand gesture meant to imply bondage dungeon.

"Yeah, lucky me, I got to be little old Aphrodite for the weekend." Less of a smirk now, more of a grin. "Oh, don't worry about that. After all, it doesn't take long to change things around, and either you or the island did a really good job of cleaning it." Even if she had alternately grinned and shuddered in horror as she worked on the potion last night.

"Say, are you going to the play today? Cause I was thinking you might want to go home and study before you go. Finals are coming up, right?"

"I was intending to go," Raven said. "I have several friends who are part of the performance. And yes, finals are coming up, but I can easily study here as well as in my room."

"Nah, it's okay, you can go ahead and go. My gr-- son's son is coming to pick something up, so I have to be here anyway. You study, then take your time getting ready for the show. And if you see Dinah before hand, tell her I might not make it tonight, but I'll definitely be there on Thursday, okay?"

"Thank you," Raven said,remembering to hit send. "I will take you up on your offer. I am anxious to see my friends' performances."
