Geoffrey was actually feeling rather good about things. Other than, of course, the strange encounter with Miss Dew over the weekend, things were rather pleasant overall.

Which was why he was nervous tonight.

Either way, though, the show had to go on!

Suddenly decided that I want to see the Muppets do Midsummer Night's Dream.

Jack got in costume, applied his stage-makeup, and prepared himself for any quips about 'Father Jack'. He expected a smooth performance.

Dinah got into costume and make-up, humming happily about another performance as she messed with her hair. No nerves tonight, nope.

Joan found a nice corner to relax in after getting in costume. She wasn't real keen on the idea of talking to people just yet.

Emma had claimed a spot in the dressing-area with decent lighting and a mirror, and was carefully working on her hair and applying her fairy make-up.

Her cast-mates seemed more...settled... and less nervous than the prior performance, so their existence wasn't grating on her nerves quite as much.

Priestly was nibbling on a carrot stick, near his usual platter of sandwiches and veggies. With the success of opening night and the absolute insanity of the weekend, he actually wasn't getting around to getting nervous about the play.

Sophie was there, willing to help anyone with their make-up or hair who needed it, and just bored enough to be considering, well. Going outside the parameters of her role.

Puck Karla bounded backstage, holding out a large box, filled with delicious pastries of every imagininable variety. "My friends, to thee, I bring these treats today.
For us to eat to celebrate yon play.
Not baked of mine, on that you may depend.
So eat and laugh--an empty plate offends!
Enjoy, dear friends, so I will be not wroth.
A treat for all to help thee plight thy troth." She gave an extra big grin to the lovers and opened the lid.

The pastries smelled tantalizing and had never seemed more delicious. Just the merest scent was enough to make a person's mouth water. Surely J,GoB had outdone themselves today.

"More treats procured have I for those who sit
To watch our joyous capers from the pit!"

Setting the treats down on a table, Karla skipped off, darting behind some scenery to watch the fulfillment of her plan from concealment and to avoid more iambic interaction.

[Go ahead and eat the treats, though!]

Drake was in good spirits after the weekend. Being a gossip monger wasn't all that different from his usual self, after all.

Castiel was once again next to the props table, looking up towards the flies.

He found himself rather hoping that nothing was meant to fall on anybody. It seemed this town had enough troubles to deal with without random accidents being thrown in.

Kate wasn't as nervous as the last time, but she was still nervous enough not to even think about eating anything before the show.

Instead, she was going over her lines again, and fiddling with her costume.

Makeup- stage or not- was not something Firekeeper had worn often before the play, and even then, one of the Earl's maids had usually helped her with such things. Still, determined as she was to do this properly, she'd practiced with the makeup until she had the method of application down.

Donning a costume, at least, was a much less complicated process.

That done, she waited with Blind Seer, idly kneading the fingers of one hand through his fur to quell any lingering nervousness.

Her stomach was tied in knots but to the outward eye she was utterly composed, if a bit pale.

Hinata sat, off to the side, and drawing her composure around her like a shell.

Sam was still thinking about what he'd been reading before he arrived, but he had enough practice in setting things aside to focus on the present that he was able to get into the necessary mindset for the play. It helped that he was a lot less nervous this time.

Harper was there, but keeping very busy with managing all of the various costumes, making sure they all look fabulous.

And even though she wasn't an actor this time, she was being very careful to watch her step. There would be no broken legs for her this time.

Emma never gave less than her best performance. From the first utterance of "What, jealous Oberon!" all the way to the end, she did her best fill her role with fire and and conviction.

If she gave her scenes with Bottom a little extra care and heart, well, it was only because she knew someone was likely paying closer attention than usual. And Emma wasn't above being manipulative when it came to winning this wager.
