Mary had no idea where Gunther was, but there seemed to be an ever-growing number of fruitcakes at the front desk. Somehow, a slice of fruitcake appeared on a plate next to her clipboard. She tried to ignore it, and even sent it back to the kitchen at one point, but it kept coming back, like it really wanted to be eaten.

When she finally went looking for Gunther to figure out what the deal was, she found him in the walk-in cooler, trapped by piles of fruitcakes.
