Morgan's Hardware - Wednesday, 12/30
...someone didn't get to go to NYC.
To be fair, the city didn't exactly hold particularly happy memories for him. Once you've seen enough people shot in subway stations on grainy security cameras, not to mention nearly had your teammate blown up, the place just didn't have the same kind of allure.
Surprisingly, the ambulance ride hadn't really been that bad.
Either way, he had work and the store was open for what few stragglers had decided to stick around. It even had a dog, since Morgan felt it was almost cruel to make Clooney stay in that cold old house by himself.
[open but ocdless for anyone who might still be haunting around!][all threads before the trip to the pet store/the vet]

"Your best bet is to ask a vet. My sister says it's hard to figure out by yourself."

"A veterinarian," he corrected himself, "a doctor for animals. I don't know of any on island, but there's one I bring Clooney to for his shots out in Virginia. I could give you a ride sometime, if it's important."

And it wasn't like the Reaper case wouldn't be there when he got back.

Of course, there was a pet store on island, so it wouldn't be too hard to get one, but one step at a time.

". . . No. I have my arms."

He glanced down at Clooney.
"You're not really the kinda wingman who'll work for this kinda trip, boy," he said, scritching behind the dog's ears. Clooney made a little sound of disappointment before Morgan chuckled.
"Lemme get him back home and we'll head to the pet store, get a carrier for him. They're a little container for cats."

"But if your cat has a toy he likes, he might not switch over. Then again, there's always catnip."

"Come on. Let's go."
[do we want to set up a post at the petstore, handwave, etc? I'm good for whatever]

[ooc: I'm bored, let's do a pet store post. I'll pop one up now!]

Morgan tipped his head towards his own house, since he had to drop off the dog. Then it was off to the pet store.
