Everything But the Monkey, Wednesday afternoon
Castiel paused in the doorway of the pet store and looked around.
He'd had no idea that humans kept such a variety of animals as companions.
How on Earth would they find everything that Morgan and Dean had suggested he acquire for the Cat?
[ooc: Cass is here with Morgan, but open store is open, in case anyone is hanging about]

"Think the carriers are over this way," he said as he started walking to the aisle on the left.

". . . Beautiful. I've occasionally wondered why my father did not use so many legs on more of his creatures."

"Guess that's why he's God and we're us," he said as he walked along. Eventually, he came to a section with a few different carriers. Most of them were hard plastic with metal grating. One was a 'popup', which Morgan figured was mostly for dogs.
"This is what we came for," he told Castiel.

"Kind of. They don't have metal on the bottom, so they won't hurt the animal's feet. But they're to hold the cat until we get there. That bother you?"
He was already coming up with an idea if it did.

"What about this?"

"I think that may work. It'll be acceptable for the vet?"

"It'll get the cat to the office. I've seen a few people with them in the office waiting room."

"Oh. Yeah, they like them. Cats like a nice comfy place to curl up just like anyone else. Clooney's got a bed. It's a lot bigger than that one."

"It's good to have someone to come back to, even if you're just out for a few hours."

For notes on Morgan re: small young things, watch his reaction to JJ's baby boy.
"And the little guy padded right over to me and looked up. Figured that was fate and when they needed to find a home for him, I took him in."

Not that Clooney hadn't had to be trained out of not eating his shoes. But you couldn't really train cats half so well. They had a mind of their own.

"Any preference on color for this thing?"

"I got this," he said before heading to the counter.
