The Park, Wednesday Morning
Had it only been three days since his last mission? Because Jak was already feeling like jumping out of his skin again. In the end, he'd had to snag his Morph Gun out from the weapons locker and head out. If nothing else, it might be fun trying out the JET-board on the snow.
As it turned out, it was; the board hummed loudly under his feet, propelling him over a hill, then down a slope. He made a flip in the air, went for a 360 and grinded along a park bench.
It was more than a little pointless, but it was something to do.

Oh--hey! Ino ducked behind a tree and contemplated her options. He did owe her a snowball fight, even if he'd, uh, done some changes or something over break... even if that board thing did make her a little leery, she didn't want to hurt him but he seemed to have it well in hand and it was only a bit of snow...
Enough thinking!
She scooped up a handful of snow, packing it enough that it'd make a good projectile and then leaned around her tree to time her throw so he wasn't (too) precarious looking with that board thing, took aim, and let fly with the snowball.
Mwahahaha!

As he jumped off the board to avoid falling, the board folded in on itself, fading back into a dull hunk of metal.
And that was about the point where he looked up. "Hey!"

"You owe me a snowball fight!" she carolled. "I just took advantage of the situation!"
And flung another snowball in his direction.

Clearly he needed a snowball to help with that, yes.

Ino peered around her cover and grinned at him. "You're supposed to throw snow back," she said helpfully. "Unless you're totally lame now?"

Please to ignore the fact his jetboard did seem to be gathering a little bit of snow as it moved.

"Oh really?" Ino asked archly. "Looked a bit like you were playing a game before I showed."

One word replies.
And gathering some more snow as he went for idle patterns in order to avoid any stray snowballs.

"Ain't no law that says training can't be fun too, yo."
Of course she was going to try and nail him with a few more snowballs. That could count as training too.

After doing so a couple of times, Jak leaned forwards, tipping the jetboard into a forwards slide towards the tree. It was fast -- and as soon as he was near, he sommersaulted with it, sending a spray of snow into the general direction of the tree's canopy and everything below it.
He had no idea if that was going to work, but it was worth experimenting.

"That's cheating!" she carolled, shaking snow from her hair and darting behind another tree. "And what is that?"
