'Dite's Decadent Delights, Tuesday
Finally, the inventory was completely filled in. With the new design of the store she even had room to expand the book section, laying in several shelves of pure fiction. Things seemed to be back to what passed for normal in Fandom, and she found herself reading as she waited for Raven, so she could show her all the changes.
Somewhere in the middle of her romance novel she looked up and saw the time: 1:14.
"That's weird. Raven's normally here by now." 'Dite shrugged and kept reading, expecting the door to open at any moment.
It didn't, and the next time she looked up the clock read 1:38.
When it got to two o'clock she began pacing worriedly and glancing at the phone, wondering if she should call.
"What do you have up your sleeve for me now, Fandom?"
(OOC: 'Dite's waiting for word, but the store is open. I'll be gone early afternoon for a few hours, but back after that for the evening.)

Even worried, 'Dite could be cheerful; it was a gift.

Max was not a vampire, but there was a vampire named Max, off in another timeline. Was that other universe crossing with theirs again?

And then she'd be calling Max. The non-vampire Max.

She sighed and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "I'm not sure how much longer she'll be here. The lady who was working healed her wound but she's still really tired and weak."

She hung up, and stood staring at the phone for a long moment. Then she started dialing.
"You'd better pick up (http://furious-maximus.livejournal.com/542.html?thread=219934#t219934), Max."
