Price was wondering why, of all things, he smelled egg salad in the shop today.

It didn't make any sense, since he couldn't find any egg salad. He was going to be quite hungry by the end of the day, if he didn't find some air freshener or something to mask the smell.

But then, he might be able to ignore it if anyone came into the shop.
