Returning to the city after the trip meant Cable had a lot of paperwork to get back in order. (The spa had pampered him last week, and he'd already moved on to scheduling another appointment for a massage at Theodoric's, somewhere between all the paperwork) Of course, Jan liked to leave her mark behind, so a lot of forms had to be redone.
It almost made him miss the days the worst she would do was leave teethmarks.
