Photo Hut, Tuesday

It was almost summertime, and Jack was not happy with how pasty he looked.


Anyone coming into the shop would see shirtless Jack sitting in a beach chair under the lighting setup, wearing sunglasses and a goofy grin, working on his tan.

Even the new and improved Leda found this somewhat excessive. "Wouldn't still be okay if you were just at the door? You could claim you're waiting to greet customers as they come in."

Jack had a thought, and sat up; he cursed briefly as he hit one of the lights with his noggin.

"That's a great idea!" he said, rushing to the door. Uh. Might want to put on a shirt there.

"Yeah I was just away from Fandom for awhile, by my view and I wanted to say hi. And, I don't know anything about photography so just the basic thing."

"Well, this here is fairly good from what I can tell. Eight minipixies, fits in your pocket, runs on regular batteries, and takes a couple hundred pictures before the thing gets full," he said, showing her a nice digital camera.

"So you went back home?"

"Mini Pixies? Aren't Pixies small anyway?" A camera with Pixies didn't actually seem that strange to her. "Yeah, I went back to try to straiten some things out. Wound up getting more than I bargained for."
