Naomi was on time for her shfit, making sure that everything was set up and organized. Once she had made sure that everything was ready, she sat down to go over last minute revision for her History of Medicine final that was in period two.

Stark Industries is open.

"Hey!" he said, bringing in a bag of burgers from the mainland. "Look! Dragons!" He pulled the toy out of the not-kids-meal and waved it around. "These are so cool!"

"Hi Jack," Naomi said with a grin, "they certainly are,"

"I figured it'd be something fun to have, at least." He made fire-breathing sounds for a moment.

He needed to ask her if she was going on the Starfleet thing right after graduation or if she was staying over the summer. He'd get to that.

Naomi grinned, "there's no harm in that," she said.

He decided to dive in.

"So. Graduation's coming up. You gonna have family here?"

Naomi nodded, "mom and dad are coming once the mun put the application form in," she said, "and so's Icheb, Admiral Janeway might also be coming but she won't know until closer to the day," she paused, "how about you?"

"Nah, not that I know of," Jack said because he didn't know the mun was finally bringing Jack's dad into play. "So I'm not quite sure what I'm doing afterwards. I think there's a trip planned. Isn't there always a trip planned after graduation?"

He may have been watching that show with the spoiled rich kids again.

"I've heard something about a trip being planned during the summer but I don't know much about it," Naomi said, "even though I won't be able to go,"

"You're going right to Starfleet?"

"I'm spending two weeks with my parents first on the ship that they're on," Naomi said, "and I'll also be going through the testing process, so that I'll hopefully get into the six week summer course and from there start at the Academy in the fall," she explained.

"Oh wow. You have everything planned out."

Naomi gave a small smile, "I've been preparing for a career in Starfleet since I was little,"

"You should follow your goal."

"I hopefully will be able to," she said, "how about you? Are you going to be staying over the summer?"

"I think I might sign on for that trip," he said. Not like there'd be a spot for him on her trip or at Starfleet. He sighed.

"It sounds like it will be fun,"
