Yummy breakfast. Oh-so-good for you breakfast.

A continental breakfast meant flayrah - fruit, most likely - and so there was a rabbit who was contemplating the tables with a sort of wide-eyed alertness that one wouldn't expect from most rabbits.

This island was not his warren, but there were rabbits here, and so El-Ahrairah felt as welcome here as he felt anywhere. Even as the convention was full of gods and elil alike, he would stay, ears alert with a faint sheen of stardust, and he would contemplate how he might go about getting the food that was up on those tables... down from those tables.

Raziel, food, sulking.

It was starting to be come a Thing.

Mr. Nick was never one to turn down a free meal, and especially one on Sundays.

"Isn't this nice?" he said to no-one in particular. "All of us sitting down, breaking bread together?"

Leda was totally crashing the con. Strictly out of curiosity. The radio made this sound pretty interesting.

Mmm, pancakes.

Zeus was seriously considering blowing off the lectures today to go check out the women on the island. Hell was so his brother's territory, after all.

Sebastian was extremely cranky about once again losing Raven because of her stupid stupid friends last night, not to mention what Andy had made him do. Oh, yes, he would have his revenge. He'd split them open and feast on their blood and sacrifice their corpses to Trigon. And then he'd go buy Raven something shiny.

As soon as she caught his eye, Karla waggled her fingers at him and mouthed, "Kiss, kiss." She'd be avoiding Trigon like the plague, but was more than happy to keep an eye on Sebastian. And annoy the Hell out of him while doing it.

Trigon wasn't bothering with his human form today, but he wasn't manifesting at his true height, either, because then he wouldn't fit in the room. But he was still careful to make himself a foot taller than Anakin. JUST BECAUSE.

He was also sending out a call to his daughter. He wanted to be sure to have a chat with her before he left.

Raven had heard her father calling for her, and for awhile considered just ignoring it. But the pull was strong, and she was afraid he might come to the dorms in search of her if she resisted, and that might be even worse. So she resigned herself to talking to him. At least, if what Karla had told her about what she sensed of his power was true, he was only projecting an image of himself into this world, and wasn't truly physically there. The gateway was not yet open.

"Father," she said quietly when she stood before him. She could feel his power bearing down on her, and it took all of her strength to shield herself from him. She was also hoping Anakin and her friends wouldn't be too upset with her for confronting her father here.

Athena was enjoying a plate of waffles. Occasionally, when she thought no one was looking, she would feed a piece of waffle to her owl.

Breakfast! It wasn't an obedient acolyte, but few things were. She could manage.

Saetan was going to help himself to a good breakfast of pancakes with syrup and strawberries and cream. And not mention how much he enjoyed them to his cook when he got home.

He might be the High Lord of Hell and the Warlord Prince of Dhemlan, but no one outranked Mrs. Beale.

"I admit that when I suggested this topic, I had assumed it would be a part of a multiperson panel, as opposed to a seminar," Saetan said easily. "For those of you who attended my lecture yesterday, you learned that, in my world anyway, while cold, dark, and desolate, Hell is a more a place of rest than punishment. I may be the High Lord, but that does not make me some kind of accountant, toting up the wrongs and misdeeds committed in life by those who find their way to my Realm and demanding payment."

Not that that would stop him from undertaking his role as the Executioner when the situation called for it, but he didn't restrict those activities to the already-dead, either.

"So, now I turn the question to you, the audience. How does your Hell function? What is its purpose? How is that manifested in its landscape, its population? And, most importantly, why? My Hell exists because the demon-dead needed a place to congregate outside of the living Realms. Did yours come into being for a similar reason?" He looked expectantly out at his audience. "Please. Indulge an old man's curiosity."
