Mary was working on purchase orders at the front desk, but it was not going very well. She had a headache from having to listen to one of Gunther's rants this morning. He wanted to buy a new deep fryer for the main kitchen. Mary shot down the idea right away because she was reluctant to see what Gunther could do with hot oil when he was in one of his moods.

It also explained how she had ended up making her own lunch with ingredients Gunther would never use.
