When Hannibal wandered into worked, he stopped dead at the sight of Tino in full hockey gear, complete with helmet, gloves and stick. The only thing he wasn't wearing were the skates and he'd made up for that by draping them on the bar.

"Hockey's a stupid sport and you're stupid too," Hannibal said very maturely, coming back behind the bar and smacking Tino's helmeted head. "If I wanted to stick my puck in a net, I'd go have sex."

Tino spent the rest of the night pissed. And in hockey gear.

"I got proposed to today," Angela shared as she settled on a bar stool opposite Hannibal. All for being open and sharing the events of her day.

Hoshi felt she deserved a night out for a change, so she checked out the bar to see if there was anything going on. What she found confused her. "Is there some big sports game that I'm missing?" she asked, giving a sideways glance at Tino.

"No, Tino's just a moron," Hannibal told her, shaking his head. "And an idiot."

"Ah, okay. I hadn't realized how popular football was until this World Cup business started and Gunther started going crazy over it," said Hoshi.

"Yeah, Tino's just a moron. I think he thinks it'll help him pick up chicks or something," Hannibal said, tossing a peanut at Tino's and his helmet. "It's not working so far."

Angela was definitely enjoying the reaction here. The last time had been long enough ago that she decided teasing him with something like that was allowed.

"Drake. The teacher I'm TA-ing for," she replied easily. "In class, it was very romantic." And only a demonstration.

Hannibal was...back to staring. "What? Why did he propose to you? Isn't that illegal or something? That's illegal and creepy and he's old!"

"You know I'd hate to break Tino's heart, but I think my boyfriend might have a problem with it," said Hoshi. "He's just going to have to find a girl who isn't already taken."

"Hmm." Hannibal eyed Tino and then threw another peanut at him. "Or he can just die alone and in hockey gear. Seriously, this is why the guy can't get a break. He's wearing hockey gear during baseball season."

"Yeah, he would have had more luck wearing it back during January," said Hoshi. "Then again, I don't think I can imagine Tino hooking up with a girl. It just seems wrong."

Peter came into Caritas and cast a few glances at the band's direction before settling in at the bar.

"You totally set me up," he said, amused.
