The graveyard outside the church, Tuesday afternoon

Mildred, the NPC woman who cleaned the church on Tuesdays, had finally laid down an ultimatum. She would no longer be washing Castiel's underthings. He'd just have to learn how to do it, himself.

Which would be why Castiel was currently outside, stringing a line up between two trees in the graveyard. He'd spent quite awhile observing humans, now, and he was certain this was how it was done.

Don't ask where he got such a variety of underthings. It was probably best not to know.

[ooc: Open! But note, there will be iconage with underwear in the actual post. Because I can.]

"What's going on here?" Chuck had actually shown up to get Loki, since he had finally bought all the stuff (way too much of it) he thought he needed to take care of a cat. But he got distracted by underwear. Like you do.

"Congratulations," Chuck said, actually looking impressed. "Even I don't know how to do laundry."

"Ah, of course. I should have known," he said, leaning against one of the trees. "I thought the cleaning lady did this sort of stuff for you?"

Chuck snickered. "I guess washing other people's underwear could be a bit weird, if you don't know them very well. And you do have an awful lot of it."

Chuck lifted up an eyebrow. "That's not a very common trait in underwear. Unless you've stumbled across some magical ones."

"That's kind of gross," Chuck said, since he was the type not to touch anything that came from a basement. "But, whatever, as long as you don't just have one pair."

He had been kind of wondering about that, considering Cass usually only wore one outfit.

"I like clothes," Chuck said, like that wasn't already obvious. "I find it weird when other people don't care about them. It's not just you; I bother Sam about his clothes all the time too."

"Most people here don't. I think it might be an Upper East Side thing. Or a wealthy person thing, I don't know," he said. "Where I'm from clothes are important. They say a lot about who you are so you don't have to say it yourself."

"Well. There's more to it than that," Chuck said. "But I guess it's a good way to weed out people you don't want to talk to, yeah."

"The last one," he said. "Which is kind of mean, I guess, judging people by what they wear...but I don't really have time to get to know everybody."

"That you're kind of a uptight geek," Chuck admitted. Which was kind of true. "Not that's bad or anything. You make it work."

"The suit's kind of cheap and plain. It's like you work at a bank or something. Kinda geeky," Chuck said. "Wearing the coat constantly and the way you stand, plus the fact that I know you, is where I get uptight from."

"Yeah, I took it was Jimmy with the poor fashion sense, not you," Chuck said with a smirk. "But don't worry about it much. Most people can't dress well."
