"Soooo, how are your Finals so far?" Dinah checked as she held the door for Tim. "Good? Bad? Totally ridiculous?"

She might have ulterior motives for treating him to ice cream, but they could wait.

"Finals are going well," Tim said. He suspected Dinah had an ulterior motive for the meeting, but he'd go along with it to figure out what it was. He suspected something to do with Karla. "How about you? Anything tough this week?"

Dinah snorted. "Hardly. Although I do wonder what Dr. Horrible is going to come up with for a Final." All her tough stuff would be in saying good-byes next week. "Training with Jaime. Training with Momoko. A slumber party, maybe, with Karla." La la laaaa.... "Double cone or single?"

"Double, please," Tim said. "What kind of training are you doing with Jaime?"

Dinah ordered two double cones, and leaned against the counter. "Weight training this week. It was swords last week. And he's supposed to give me dance lessons, too." Her smile quirked up, then down, then up. "Gotta squeeze in all the fun we can. Are you going back to Gotham again before the semester's over?"

"Not unless something comes up," Tim said. "I'll be back in October for my dad's wedding, though. When do you leave?"

"Your dad's getting remarried? Is she cool?" Dinah asked, curious. Hunh. Another difference between the Tim Drake in her world, an this one.... "And I leave a week from Friday." She grimaced. "I'm excited, but saying good-bye to everyone sucks. Did that last night at the Strawberry Social for a few people. Did you go?"

"No, I was hanging out with some friends in Rhode Island this weekend," Tim said. "Dana's great. She's really good for my dad."

"That's cool." So, at least his dad was still alive... "So, you missed Warren. Turning from a budgie into a guy. Nude." She paused, remembering, amused. "Not his happiest moment, I'm guessing."

Tim winced in guy sympathy. "Oh, man. That had to suck. Is that what usually happens with animal transformations?"

Dinaaah! Need cake! Need lots of cake! you wANtT cake? Say yes -am buyingyou some anyway. Today too long for no cake!

Dinah looked over at Tim, then grinned at her phone.

Two birds. Okay, a Robin and a Blossom. One stone...?

Having ice cream w/Tim! Come to Chilly Boulder? Then she frowned. U OK?

... except for how she had to remember not to make Robin references in front of Tim with Momoko not knowing. Right.

After laughing at Dinah's text, Momoko zipped back a quick

Ha! I should! promised him a long time ago. Okay, be there soon! Sugar!!!!

and ran back up to her room to grab the notebooks before heading off to the Boulder.

"Ahh! Ice cream!" Momoko exclaimed as she brought her bowl of toppings with possibly some ice cream to the table where Dinah and Tim were sitting. "Totally good call, Dinah! Hi again, Tim! Sorry to interrupt! Can I join you?" Sure she'd been invited, but it was still polite to ask.

"Tim, you don't mind, right?" Dinah grinned at him, and took another bite of her cone. "Momoko said she knew you when she texted me."

Tim shot Dinah a suspicious look, but smiled at Momoko. "Hey! It's good to see you."

Momoko grinned and shifted her ice cream to hold out the notebooks to him. "Dinah said you were here so I brought the notes finally! I can't promise there's much in there, but it's all the stuff from Physics, Applied Science, and Forensics!"

She totally didn't think to mention that the classes were actually Superhero physics, and Thaumaturgic Forensics. Had she mentioned that earlier? He'd find out really quick from the notes.

Dinah craned her neck to see the notes, and commented, "So, Azula was torturing you? Awwwww."

That may have sounded more amused than you'd expect, usually.

"Awesome!" Tim exclaimed, looking through the notes. "Thanks for sharing these." Don't mind him, he'd just be over here reading for a bit.

Momoko laughed, and hoped she actually had more notes in there than sketches. "You are so totally weird for wanting those you know? Although the actual classes were awesome! Especially the physics one. Professor Beaubier was really cool."

Momoko rolled her eyes at Dinah's question as she sat down. "Azula woke me up at dawn to go training! No warning! She pulled me out of bed and didn't even let me have breakfast! It was like Kaoru all over again, except I have to call her Sifu."

Dinah snickered. "Oh, c'mon," she teased. "You call me sempai, kohai. And I bet you learned something?" She elbowed Tim and asked, "Do you want the investigations notes I had from last summer? It was a really good course. Even if Momoko missed half of it."
