The Gig, Monday
Dani had hoped to go riding today, but it seemed to take forever to get through all of the chores and cleaning that had accumulated. She ended up feeding a few sugar cubes to Smudge as an apology for skipping out on their ride.
"What do you think, Smudge? Where should we be advertising for more help?" she asked. Smudge didn't offer any advice, but Duke snorted in the next stall.
The Gig was open, and the "Help Wanted" sign was still up.
