The Arms Hotel Lobby, Sunday [10/3]

Mary was kind of oblivious to anything going on around her. She was doing research on sleep disorders since it was clear that Sam's aversion to sleep had less to do with the Las Vegas lifestyle and more to do with overwhelming stress.

She was about to call Delinda when the concierge discretely whispered something to her about noon check-out possibly being a problem for vampires. Mary face-palmed. After all her work in promoting vampire-friendly rooms to the hotel, she'd forgotten one of the most critical parts. "Just go ahead and extend late check-out to sunset if anyone asks for it," she decided. "It's not like we have any large groups checking in tonight."

Mulder came back down from his room after Scully finished patching him up, and wandered over to the front desk. "I wanted to thank whoever gave me the Room of Pillows," he said. "Do you know the walls grow them?"

"One of my maids noticed them last week. We couldn't figure out how it worked, but it seemed pretty cool," said Mary with a smirk. It was nice to know that something had gone right this weekend. "I'm glad you enjoyed the room."

"I might have to come back here to visit my sister again-- do you guys ever run room specials, or anything like that?" Mulder said, just a little flirtily.

Hey, he didn't get to go on vacation nearly often enough.

"Oh, yeah, there are plenty of specials from time to time," said Mary. "Once everyone leaves at the end of the weekend, this place is empty! That's the best time to get some good deals."

Gunther may be stalking a certain crustacean, but the rest of the NPC staff has helpfully loaded the buffet table with free vegetarian snacks. Help yourself to some goodies while catching up with people in the lobby.

I have so much stuff to get done before Monday, but SP is definitely welcome!
