All said and done, Ariel's weekend certainly hadn't been a bad one, although at the time she was miserable through most of it. Still, if she didn't think about all the things about land that Sebastian was likely to exaggerate to her father, it was over and she could go back to apparently ruin all his training by enjoying things like pop music and show tunes.
There was still no music playing in the shop today.
Ariel needed a freaking break, and was perfectly content to just flipped through the fashion magazines by the counter in relative silence today. She was also making a point to check out all the articles and photo spreads involving shoes. Sometimes, it was just about the smallest acts of rebellion, especially when you've mostly exhausted all the big ones.
