Alexander didn't want to think that such a thing was possible, but, ever since he moved the odd cat statue somewhere that didn't make him feel like it was watching him, he could swear it kept moving back to a position just as bad, if not worse, than the spot before. It was just a cat. A stoneware cat at that.
But Alexander had his reasons for not being fond of cats, especially once with literally glazed over eyes that seemed to be watching his ever move.
By the end of the day, he might just take his damages, pony up the money to purchase it, and then take great satisfaction in smashing it to pieces.
