Pixie Dust, Monday
There was some sort of witchcraft going on where half the people were the wrong gender, and Makita was very thankful that it hadn't happened to her. Using the protocols were one thing, but magic? Like this? Strange happenings that did not come from a Priestess channeling the will of God? It made Makita's skin crawl.
To cheer herself up, she'd started decorating for this 'Homecoming' dance she'd heard about, putting out some of the prettiest dresses and fancy suits. She'd already picked out her own outfit, but that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy trying on a few Western-style dresses.

That fit.
Hopefully no one would see the two of them. Or, if they did, recognize them.

She took a deep breath and caught up to him, grabbing hold of the back of Jaime's shirt. "You're not getting away! I need clothes too! Cute ones. If I'm stuck at least I want to be cute."

She took another deep breath and closed her eyes to count to ten. When she opened them, she pointed over to the shelf against the wall. "Let's start there."
Maybe once he got at least one outfit, he would stop being so grumpy.

pinkblues and greens. "You totally would look awesome in almost all of these. Ooh! THIS ONE!" She pulled out a green dress and held it out to him."Totally not street wear, but totally you." She grinned. "You know, I just realized I'm getting to dress you up in skirts and dresses and I don't have to pay a penalty for it!"
no subject
"A dress?" Jaime sounded more than a little bit hesitant.
"And what sort of penalty would you normally pay?"

Anyway, he could resist!
Except that would probably mean she'd use them on him extra when things went back to normal...
"Just... just one, right?"

Just one. He could manage one.
"Oh. And your phone." There were not going to be any pictures.

"Oh. Then here?" Momoko handed over her
mundanecell phone, her Power Compact still in her pocket.no subject
He got the pull-over off, and then... the skirt he could manage, but... the blouse... He had very awkward breasts in the way!
But he finally got that taken care of. Now all he had to do was figure out how to get the dress on.
"How does this thing work?" he called in the general direction of the door.
no subject
He was asking how a dress... worked?
"It's a dress, Jaime, not an alien machine!" She blinked a lot, then shook her head and went back to trying to find a Tall in his size. "There should be a zipper in the back or the side. Unzip it and put it on." Really. Even Kaoru could figure out a dress!
no subject
"Found it!" Like Momoko needed a blow-by-blow report...
He managed to get the dress on. It fit...
He just wasn't sure if it fit right. How was it supposed to feel? He'd... have to ask Momoko. Taking a deep breath, Jaime stepped out of the changing room.

And suddenly there was a sparkly pink
BatRobin-phone in her hands and she was snapping a picture of Jaime in a dress."Oh! You are totally getting that for Homecoming!" She grinned wide. "It's PERFECT on you!"
She lowered the phone and took a longer, slower look. "I mean it; it is totally perfect on you. You look really really... beautiful, Jaime."

"I can't; it was a gift! He'll totally kill me if I lose it." Not like he won't be upset about seeing it be-Momoko-ed. "And if you rip that dress I will be so mad at you!" She snapped another picture of him flailing after her and then pocketed the phone.

"Ah!" She rushed forward as he stumbled, trying to help steady her. "Careful!"
