Alex opened up the shop, extremely pleased she was still herself. She had a stack of magazines to flip through. She had a Homecoming outfit to pick out, after all.

If you need her, feel free to ring the bell on the counter or, you know, just yell.

"Alex!" Ino chirped, wandering in during her lunch break. "Ooooooooo. Magazines! What for?"

"Hey Ino," Alex grinned and flipped the magazine around to show Ino the page she was on. "Looking for something for Homecoming. Down to the wire, I know."

[intraspective]

"Lucky you that shoppin' here means people can get stuff fast," she said, leaning over to look at the dress. "Cute."

She approved!

"Did you have a colour scheme in mind?" she asked, then brightened. "Or a daaate?"

"Lucky me indeed," she agreed. "That would be a no to both questions," Alex shook her head. Yeah, she should probably work on that date part too. "What about you?"

"Goin' with Zack," she replied, smiling fondly at the thought. "As for my dress... well, I've got it narrowed down to a few options?"

That wasn't too bad! Was it?

"I'm sure you two will have a great time," Alex stated. "Ooh, what are your choices?"

"I don't have them on me," she laughed, shaking her head. "But one's piiink, another is blue, and the third is kinda--almost metallic goldish, but more muted, if you know what I mean?"

"And here I thought you might," Alex joked, laughing. "The gold one sounds like it would be a knockout."
