Things Reborn; Wednesdays [ 10/27 ].
"Aurgh!"
That was about the only thing Alexander could say at first when he came into work, only to be confronted by another cat that almost seemed to be waiting for him with its awful, staring blue eyes. Thankfully, it was easily resolved, as Alexander, once confirming it was just another silly statue, picked it up and resolutely brought it toward the back of the shop.
Too bad he didn't notice the other cat statue, a much creepier pair of slender white ones, lurking nearby where the other had been.
Not until it was too late, anyway.

"Gah!" Alexander immediately jumped a little, handing going up as if to ward himself from evil cat statues.
"By the heavens, what is that thing?" he asked, once he realized it was only another statue. "And why do we have so many here? That seems a question better fitted for you, I'm afraid, since you are the one who runs this business. But, I swear, there is always one lurking whenever I am here. It is most unsettling, Faith."

"It's pretty damn ugly, isn't it?" There was probably a tiny note of pride in her voice, or Alexander was hearing things, whichever was most likely. "I have read the list of old, valuable things we have here, and there wasn't a 'creepy cat statues' note anywhere." But wait, something else was pushing in her mind. "Unless this is part of the new shipment, then I haven't checked it yet."
