It was a great day, once she'd gone through the chore of opening the store and making sure it was clean enough for her standards (which were fairly, but not unreasonably high), to turn on the radio, play with her hot chocolate that was mostly whipped cream (it was just better that way, okay?) and settle in with the books she’d taken from the library.

She was going to learn this, dammit. And learn it well.
