The Boards, Wednesday
“Today,” he said, once as many actors had shown up as were going to—he made note of those who weren’t there—and kept his gaze cool as he studied the rest of them. Karla was missing again? Tsk tsk. And she’d been doing so well, coming in the last two days.
“We’ll be doing a full run through of the play. This is to get everyone comfortable with the entire thing. A single scene to act out is not overly strenuous in most cases but an entire play from beginning to end can be a drain even for experienced professionals.”
Which they were most definitely not.
“Furthermore,” Genesis continued, “it’s come to my attention that several holidays for this world are coming up in the next month and a half. Pursuant to that, as most of you are students and, I assume, are interested more in celebrating than—“ Well, the play. Children. Sigh.
Genesis let that sentence trail off and picked up a new one. “There will be two performances,” which he was not giving them the option to decide, because he was like that. “My question for you is in regards to the scheduling. When are good days for you?”
[Wait for the OCD is up up up!]
