Things Reborn; Wednesday [ 12/01 ].

Alexander, in a brave effort not to be sucked in by the ever-enticing lure of trashy romance novels, had noticed a piece of furniture in the shop in bad need of some repair, so he figured he might be the one to help bringing it to a more appealing state of upholstery. He had always been good with a needle, and fixing furniture was just one of his regular daily tasks in Manannan's castle, what with that awful cat and its claws lurking around.

So, naturally, the task had him checking quite often for any of those freaky cat statues, but, thankfully, they seemed to be taking a break. Alexander couldn't help dreading, though, that perhaps they were merely waiting it out, for next Wednesday was to be his birthday, and if his suspicions, outlandish as they were, rang true, he was in trouble for that day.

Perhaps he should just take that day off...
