It didn't take much for Cally to realize something very, very bad was about to go down. Rather than risk something happening like last time, she placed two quick calls: One to Piper, another to Portalocity, and she got the heck outta Fandom until she heard things were settled down. Yes, she was abandoning her apartment building... but Nicky's safety came first to her, always.
