Somehow Jaina had never thought that her biggest hangouts in this town would have ever been the bar and the coffee shop, and yet here she was again. If this was what small town life did to her, maybe she should reconsider this staying thing.

Yet she was here catching up on stuff before a quick trip home. She wanted to meet with Luke personally to talk about her role at the moment, and she figured if her parents were actually on Coruscant to actually see them, she wanted to explain things in person, too. And the day she got to stop explaining her choices to her parents was the day she could really consider herself a grownup. She wasn't sure that would ever actually happen.

For the moment she was sitting at a table by the window with coffee in front of her, and a pastry that had originally been intended for breakfast and was now ignored because she was reading her datapad to find out everything she could about what was going on at home right this second. She liked to be as informed as possible, just in case things went wrong while she was there. Not that that had ever happened before or anything.
