She felt better after seeing him and reassuring herself that no matter what her father did, she could never hurt someone she cared about so much. Even when her demon side had manifested in the past, she hadn't turned on her friends. Except in the vampire Fandom. And when they'd been trying to help Aphrodite. But both of those times had been Max's fault, so they totally didn't count.

She settled in for a hopefully quiet afternoon to focus on her shields and keeping her father's influence out so he couldn't manipulate her dreams again.
