Streets of Fandom | Friday | Evening | December 31
The invite to the New Years Eve party had been surprising but timely. After all, he had a lot of friends to see and a lot of fun to have. The party, that was a little too public for him so he was staying to the dark corners of the streets.
Every so often, someone would pass by that would either pique his attention or be too inferior for him to even try. He knew what kinds of weapons people on this island had and he really didn't want a lynch mob tailing him.
So, he was just walking slowly in the shadows, hands in his pockets and sunglasses covering his eyes. Now, it was just a matter of finding someone interesting. That couldn't be that hard on this island.
[NFB but this is open, if you wanna run into Hannibal!]

He didn't even notice Hannibal as he walked by since Chuck was, well, Chuck and didn't really notice anything that didn't have to do with himself half the time.

"You've graced the island with your presence, I see. How lucky we are."

"Finally, someone who appreciates me," Chuck said, recovering from his scare quickly. "You should gives these new people a lesson in Chuck Bass 101. They don't know anything."

So here she was, walking down the street in her golden jacket. Alone.
In her defence, she really didn't expect Hannibal to be showing up on the island so soon, and not on New Year's Eve. Times Square was full of people, wasn't that like a vampire buffet?

He didn't want her to see him just yet. There'd be time for that.

But for now, she was oblivious, just walking along with a moderate pace, wanting to get to her warm bed but not interested in rushing too much. She was humming some random tune under her breath, some Depeche Mode song she'd been listening to earlier.

Figuring she'd turn around to check the sound, he circled quickly around her, intending to end up in front of her when she turned around again.
no subject
She didn't immediately turn back around either. Mostly because if there was a random noise-making thing behind her, she'd rather know what it was and whether it was going to do it again, rather than have it sneak up behind her once she started walking again.
There was a flaw in this plan but she'd find that out soon enough.

So, he'd just wait till she turned around again and saw him.

As was the night vision that drew him to the figure in the shadows. "I remember you. Looking to scale a wall tonight?"

"What counts as good?" he inquired, drawing his long, leather duster closer. "Especially as it would draw us far from the party."
no subject
Dimitri was a giant and Hannibal didn't want to try and do anything with him unless he had to. That would just be too much work and he was feeling an easy kill tonight.
"Preferably foolish and stupid," he added after a moment. "What counts as good to you?"

"I've enjoyed a few of the young and pretty ones so far," he shared, smiling widely now. "I tend to enjoy getting them to get on my dick before I kill them. It's more...degrading for them."
