Dani had invited a marketing consultant to meet with her at the stable to discuss ways to promote her business. The consultant promised to turn her business around, but much of what he said about managing her product life cycle and changing her marketing mix seemed to go over her head. The meeting came to an abrupt end when the consultant started wheezing and mentioned that he might be allergic to horses. Dani agreed to a follow-up meeting in a few days on the mainland. Hopefully she had enough time to read the Wikipedia article on marketing so she could understand what he was talking about.
