Leda was of two minds when it came to dressing nice. She'd grown up as a privilaged upper middle class girl, but identified more with the years of her life spent as a street kid.

This would be why she was wearing a nice dress, sparkly, if modest earrings, and black combat boots and had magicked a blue streak in her hair that matched the color of her dress.

She was also humming "Jesus of Suburbia" under her breath. It'd been stuck in her head ever since her girl's night out with Sai and Wiseguy had culminated in them singing Green Day and Pink songs long into the night.

Anduin was doing his best to not be nervous about this. It was Leda after all, and they'd talked enough that he knew he could be comfortable around her. Dinner had a slightly different feeling though, so he'd dressed up as well, and gave Leda the most confident smile he could manage when he saw her. "Hello," he said. "I hope you haven't been waiting long."

Leda for her part was a little nervous as well. She considered it a good kind of nervous though. She didn't let it show, but gave Anduin a happy smile in return.

"No not at all." she assured him. "I got here a little early anyway. I wanted a chance to gawk at the dancing silverware before you got here."

"The--" Anduin started, before really taking a look around. "Oh. Well. That is a bit unexpected. I suppose gawking is appropriate. How can you not?"

"And they're so coordinated." she added, giggling. "Do you suppose they have a choreographer?"

"Oh, I hope they do, if only because that's so entertaining to imagine," Anduin said. "You picked a very good spot for dinner, I can already tell."

"Good then, we're off to a good start." she laughed. "Oh, looks like there's a table available." Even if the hostess hadn't been ready to lead them to it, the salt and pepper shakers jumping up and down to get their attention would have been a good sign.

Anduin laughed, and went over to the table to pull out a chair for Leda. His father would be proud of him for remembering his manners. "Hopefully the plates will stay still long enough for us to eat."

"Thank you good Sir." she smiled. "Hopefully the silverware will too."

She sat down and took the menu from the hostess. "Fandom never ceases to amaze me. Even when I think I've seen everything."

"That's good to hear. I means I won't find myself bored any time soon," Anduin said, taking a seat himself once Leda was settled. "You sound as though you like it very much. Did you have any visitors last weekend?"

"Fandom has been good to me. And for me." Leda nodded, thinking of how she was almost literally a different person now than she was when she first arrived two years ago. "Yes I had two of my oldest friends, and one of my newer ones come. It's a shame you didn't get to meet them." Wiseguy and Sai would have loved to interrogate meet him. "Did you?"
