Pixie Dust, Wednesday [3/16]

"This sequined hot-pink bikini top is freaking AMAZING!" Shelley exclaimed, holding it up to the light and admiring the sparkle.

Yep, it's getting a little warmer, so totally time to start thinking about new beachwear.

Pixie Dust is opened for business!

It had been a while since Jane had a chance to check in with Shelley, so she was glad she had the time to stop on by the shop and visit her friend.

"Hello, Shell--Oh, good heavens! What's happened to--"

But then Jane thankfully had the Spring Break trip to remember and reorganize her question, "Oh, what lovely...swimwear."

Please let it be swimwear...

"Were you planning on going swimming?"

Jane's mouth opened a moment to say something, then closed as she thought better of the whole thing, and then just tilted her head slightly. She wanted to say she knew what Shelley was talking about, but, really, she had no idea, but she knew she had to be wrong in thinking Shelley meant what Jane thought she might mean...

"And, well," Jane decided amiably, "just look at all these very fashionable cover-ups that are sure to go along with it very well until it gets to be time for swimming!"

She was just looking out for Shelley's honour, and all that, really....

Knowing how little she wore her corsets, Jane was certainly not going to argue with Shelley on that point, but she was going to take a moment to just sort of rub her temple a little and be glad that they were at least in a shop where, let's be reasonable, what Shelley had on now wasn't really that much less than some of the other odd modern clothing...

"Well, yes, of course," said Jane, "but, you know, proper times and places and all that. A certain amount of decorum and all that, though I suppose they are just a touch more open about how much things....hang out and breathe these days..."
