The Devil's Nest; Thursday Evening [ 03/24].

Chrono had manage to make a deal with the DJ. He could play all of that strange, somewhat painful pop music at the beginning of the night in the attempt to get people in and dancing; then, at Chrono's discretion, he would try to get at least some much more classy and palatable jazz. He was convinced people would be much more willing to dance to it and, if not, then they could go back to the pop and the bip hop and the whatever else.

The DJ claimed people would only stay because they might be drunk by that point. Chrono pulled out that in the Golden Age, prohibition was law. The DJ countered with the question as to whether or not anyone actually followed prohibition.

Chrono...knew too well the answer to that. "We're still giving it a try," he said, a bit sulkily. "You'll see."

The DJ just patted Chrono on the shoulder and they both went to take their places at the night began.

The Devil's Nest is open!

Eric did still enjoy the occasional ancient Swedish tune, but as long as no one was playing "Friday", he was pretty happy.
