There was someone waiting at the door as soon as Jack opened the diner. Why the man needed so many sandwiches made instantly wasn't Jack's problem. Helping the kitchen staff make them while still trying to serve and keep everything clean was.

There was also a McCallister there without an apron on. A smaller and probably much more annoying McCallister.
