The Arms Hotel, Monday, 3/28
Quinn got to work a little late and looking harried, robobaby Susannah firmly in her arms.
Of course it was a day when there was some construction going on in the hotel. After Quinn's third attempt to get the workmen to quiet down and quit hammering already, she gave up and decided to live with the baby's wailing. "Life is hard," she told the droid as she bounced it in her arms. "You have to learn to deal."
Strangely, Susannah was not soothed by this.

Puck was pointing at Susannah as he asked, frowning deeply in his approach. He had thought that coming to bother Quinn at work would be an awesome idea. He hadn't realized there would be a kid. A crying kid, much less.

In which case she should probably not call it a "creepy doll-thing." Susannah wailed.

It worked. Kind of. At the least, the doll quit screaming and looked to Puck curiously.
"Do you want to try holding her?"
no subject
Just by holding it. Yeah.

She gave the doll a wistful look. "Maybe I can find daycare."

She pouted at him playfully. "But you're so good with kids..."

Yes. Really. Quinn was maternal.
