Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night

Pat Benatar was rocking out over the sound system while Emma bopped along to the music at her post. The eighties rocked, and she was totally unashamed of that fact.

The Devil's Nest was open, complete with dancing hostess.

Where she takes your cover fee, checks your ID and your coat, and sings along with 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot.'

Bruce walked into the Devil's Nest with a droid baby in his arms. He wasn't often surprised by things, but.... "You never struck me as a fan of eighties music," he said, stepping up to her post.

"I'm one of the time-tossed," she admitted with a grin. "When I started at Fandom two years ago, it was only 1999 at home. My brother and I used to hide under his bed and listen to popular music on his little radio, since our father did not approve."

And Emma loved everything Winston didn't approve of.

"Somehow that part doesn't surprise me as much," Bruce said. "And listening to popular music while serving as the hostess of a night club is just the next step in that line."

"I'm dancing to it too," Emma confided, eyes sparkling. "-and working, too. Completely inappropriate for a scion of the Frost family."

"But Pat Benatar, Prince, Guns and Roses...I love everything unrepentantly loud. I still enjoy opera and classical music and all that, but what good is being a teenager if you can't rebel a little?"

"Not much good at all," Bruce said, being at least somewhat truthful. It was just that his teenage rebellion took a much different path. "Since you're being so rebellious right now, think I could convince you to leave your post and our child for a few minutes so I can get that dance you mentioned?"

"We can leave darling Damian with Tiny," she laughed, reaching out her hands to take the robot and dump him off on her coworker. "Speaking of surprises, I wouldn't have pegged you for being willing to leave your offspring at a nightclub, Mr. Wayne."

Bruce handed the droid over and gave a smirk. "He has to learn how to survive in the real world sometime. Might as well be on day two. Also, my last one was broken by a monster. I'm sure Tiny will treat this one better than that."

"I'm not entirely sure Tiny's human," Emma warned, handing the baby over with instructions not to give it anything to drink, not even juice and especially not True Blood. "Not that I am, either, so I try not to judge."

Liiiiiiiiies.

She extended her hand to Bruce with a smile. "Take a lady for a spin?"

Bruce made a mental note to check to see what exactly Tiny was. Not out of concern for the robot child. Just out of curiosity.

"It would be my honor," Bruce said, taking her hand and starting off toward the dance floor.

[OOC: I need sleep soon and then I'm gone for DAYS. Are we okay leaving it there? :D]
