Luke's Diner - Thursday

No class today meant that Bobby got to devote his full attention to his job at the diner. Totally unaware of the cooks' wishing he was distracted, Bobby spent the morning creating a large banner saying:

CONGRATULATIONS FANDOM HIGH CLASS OF 2011

and hanging it in the window. He spent the afternoon bugging the cooks to teach him how to make an omelet.

Twas a pensive Leda, as well as a hungry Leda who wandered into the Diner that afternoon.

"And what, pray tell, are pasties? Some kind of cake?"

"Hi Leda! No, they're meat and potatoes and carrots and stuff wrapped up in pie dough," Bobby replied. "I asked the cook cause it sounds weird, but they're good!"

"Oh that does sound good. I'll have one of those and a pepsi please." She sat herself at one of the stools at the counter. "So how've you been?"

"I'll put your order in. They just have to be warmed up so it should be pretty fast." Bobby headed over to do that and fill up a glass with Pepsi for Leda. "Good! I can't wait for classes to start again. This break time is boring. What about you?"

"Well I missed the last few months of classes, cause I turned into a cat. And I have a feeling I'll be missing the classes here something fierce. I'm graduating this weekend."

"I'd wondered where you were," Bobby admitted. "I forgot about people turning into stuff. Did you forget what it was like to be a human while you were a cat?"

"Well I don't really have much memory of being a cat, but by all accounts my personality still showed through, and I apparently liked wearing pet clothes. Though I acted typically cat-like."
