Butterflies. He'd opened up a crate of what was supposed to be various sorts of wiring and he'd gotten butterflies. Who didn't at all seem interested in leaving the shop, no matter how many times he opened the door to let them out.

He closed up the shop briefly to attend his workshop, and when he came back... yep, butterflies still there.

Oh well. After a while he settled down to tinker with a circuit board and did his best to ignore them flitting around.
