Vikings showed up outside the store periodically, but Cable had long since started to ignore them. Time travel was nothing particularly novel to him. If anything, right now, it was a pain in the ass -- they were just in luck the device below hadn't gotten damaged again in transit.

Just in case it did, though, he was restocking the shelves at Wellspring today. Jan trailed behind him, whacking things with a tiny nerf bat. Much to poor Tether's panic, as he didn't know what to make of the bat and kept barking at it.

That just spurred Jan to greater heights of violence.

Wellspring Arms? Was a loud, loud place today.

Fear anything under four feet.

Deadpool had to give that some thought. "I'm not... sure. I mean, we didn't name her anything dumb like 'Hope' to get all the attention."

"We'll need to check," Nate said, thoughtfully. "We can't have this getting out too far."

"Hope." Wade snickered. Then paused to add, "Jan, don't hit Max. She's old."

Jan looked highly offended about having to stop.

So she whacked at Wade's ankles instead.

And was picked up and tossed over Wade's shoulder for that.

"Good spot to hit, just not on me," he informed her cheerfully. For someone who didn't like the 'd' word so much, he certainly acted the part.

"Try the solar plexus," Nate suggested, observing the scene with amusement. "Or the eyes. You're about in the right position for it right now."

Jan squirmed and yelled.

"Awww, she's a lil' scrapper!" Wade said, offering the squirming ball of child over to Nate. "Maybe we should get her one of those horrible Karate for Kids videos!"

Nate took the horribly squirming ball of child and threw her over his own shoulder. "Maybe Tae Kwon Do."

"She can practice on Grace," Nate mused. "Anakin's kid is a little too small."
