Turtle and Canary -- Friday
Hope's idea of productivity today was texting various people she knew, mostly Savannah. And ignoring the repeated phone calls from her mother. Because really, she didn't need her mother's bugging her about when she was going to give up on "that weird place" and come home.
Because that wasn't home and hadn't been for a long time.
She shook her head, hit the "ignore" button on her phone at yet another call, and propped her feet up on the counter to... continue being a lazy slacker at work, honestly.
