Devil's Nest - Sunday
Isabela was in a fine mood today. She'd spent most of her day at Fandom's latest destination. There was the scent of sea in the air again and she'd watched the ships pulling in and out of the port. Some of them had been galleys and she couldn't help but ponder what it'd be like to own one. Watching all those fine rowers pull at the oars. Such a fine view. Add the nice amount of gold she'd made leaping over bulls and she could grow to like this Atlantis.
Maybe tomorrow she'd find her entertainment there for the evening. For now, she sad as usual behind the bar. A glass of fine wine beside her as she scribbled away at some crumpled up pages. There was a good chance it was a story of a beautiful pirate queen and her faithful rowers. Ahem.

The bar
Re: The bar
But at least he'd gotten a Father's Day call from Bella earlier. Even if he knew Renee had probably made her call him.
"Get me a nice, refreshing Coors Lite."
Somewhere, in another section of the multiverse, down another leg of the Trousers of Times, a sergeant previously in Charlie's position let out an annoyed huff and couldn't explain why.
Re: The bar
"The new setting not agreeing with you?" she asked casually as she dropped her papers and got up to grab a bottle from the fridge.
Re: The bar
He did take notice of the woman's clothes, though, or, really, lack thereof. What? Had he inadvertently wandered into a theme night or something?
But this new location was getting him down a bit. "Is it that obvious?" he asked, before giving a sigh and hunching comfortably over the bar in the classic manner of a man who spent a lot of time at a bar. "Guess it's just not that easy of a change."
Re: The bar
"Well, you could have put a sign spelling DOOM and then it'd be a bit more clearer," she offered cheerfully as she put down the bottle.
Maybe she hadn't gotten the hang of the whole being sympathetic thing.

Also, I will kill things if they let Côte d'Or move production of their Bouchées, Mignonnette en Chokotoffs to Eastern Europe. Seriously, wtf. How is that belgian chocolate then? Must you ruin everything? So much rage. Keep your paws off our chocolate!
