The Park, Monday Morning

Being in kinda-sorta Greece made the usual morning run almost fun for Tony today. Almost. His sides still hurt when he moved wrong, but at least it wasn't due to him being woefully out of shape.

Go him?

He slowed down once he entered the park, pulling out his phone to check for new messages. Because technology would always trump exercise in his mind.

((Open like a park!))

"I like to encourage people's exasperating traits," Stephanie pointed out as she reached to sling an arm around his shoulders. "That's only kind depending on who you're asking."

Stephanie mock-bowed. "Thank you, thank you. I'm here all week. I don't think Cass thinks you're a bad influence, but my boss probably does."

Stephanie hesitated, because as much as she agreed with Tony she didn't feel right just saying so outright; sure, it was true, but badmouthing the big guy might not be a very Robin-ly thing to do.

"He's super strict," she allowed. "And the broodiest brooder to ever brood, ever. But he's the best at what he does. Anyway, he hasn't told me to cut things off, which is actually kind of a surprise."

Maybe Steph was a little paranoid, but she arguably had good reason.

"I've sort of made a career out of not listening to him," she said, shrugging (and tapping one finger significantly where the 'R' badge would be on her costume). "I wouldn't be here if I did."

Stephanie just stared at him for a few seconds. "I never want to actually see that in my life, thanks."

Steph laughed, then crossed her arms over her chest and gave him the most glarey, forbidding look she could manage. (On her face it didn't work so well.)

"The big guy just looks," she said. "He's got this way of doing it that makes you feel about two inches tall."
