The Park, Monday Morning

Being in kinda-sorta Greece made the usual morning run almost fun for Tony today. Almost. His sides still hurt when he moved wrong, but at least it wasn't due to him being woefully out of shape.

Go him?

He slowed down once he entered the park, pulling out his phone to check for new messages. Because technology would always trump exercise in his mind.

She looked a bit wistful as her phone disappeared.

Tony snorted, knowing the feeling. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his own phone, tapping on the screen a few times to set something up before offering it over. "A loaner in the meantime."

It wasn't like she could get into anything on it, after all.

"Okay, now you are my favorite person for the next twenty-four hours," Juliet said in relief. "Thanks. It would have been like I moved to Siberia if I didn't have a phone at all."

"If someone named Rhodey calls... make up something." Tony needed to be nicer to his best friend.

"You mean, cover for you?" Juliet asked. (Ooooh, improv.) "Not a problem. I'll say you're super-busy with computer stuff."

Tony was going to end up with a million voicemails with Rhodey loudly yelling at him and demanding to know if he'd been kidnapped by a ditzy girl.
