The Park, Friday evening -- iCarly broadcast!

Sam was good this week -- she skipped going to the party before the broadcast. Which was not to say she was on time, just that she wasn't late because of going to a party on the beach.

She lead the way to a decent clearing in the park where they'd have room to move around, but close enough to the paths and street lights that Freddie wouldn't have trouble with the lighting. She remembered it from when she thought she was a gremlin, not that she was going to be bringing that up any time soon.

. . . Though if one looked closely, one might spot her teeth marks in the wood on the bench, nearby.

"Alright, Benson. Let's get this show on the road."

"Good," Freddie said. "Because I don't want to relive it, any way."

He pushed a few buttons on his cart. "Just make sure not to step in the kiddie pool filled with green Jell-o, okay?"

"Please, when have I ever stepped into the kiddie pool filled with green Jell-o?" Wait. "When I wasn't supposed to?"

"And no eating it, either," Freddie said. "Because it was Ariel's idea and I want her to be comfortable and feel welcome. So there."

"I wasn't going to eat it." Not without a spoon, anyway. Sam wasn't a total heathen. "But, you know, some of us worked up an appetite in class today, instead of sitting around."

On the screen showing the studio in Seattle, Spencer and Carly exchanged a look.

"I like it better when they argue about things I have some chance of knowing about," Spencer said.

"It's fun to fill in the blanks, though," said Carly. "I bet Sam was riding a unicycle."

"You just like the word 'unicycle.'"

"This is true."

"Well, if you guys really want to know, I could always send you the video I took this week... though I think I need to save that for when I need to blackmail a mucho grande favor from Sam," Freddie told Spencer and Carly.

"What video?" Sam broke in, almost a little desperate. "There's no video, I have no idea what video he might be talking about! I was talking about the lion!"

Then she shot Freddie a look that clearly implied that if she had laser vision, he would have two horrifying cauterized burn wounds through his head.

"Oh hey, we probably should be getting into place, look at the time," Freddie said. "It's amazing how it all flies by when you're having fun."

Sam nodded in return, making a mental note to hunt down Freddie's archived video files. How had she forgotten that he'd video taped her?

. . . Maybe she could convince Carly that she was just trying out a new routine for the show.

"There was a lion?" Gibby asked from the other side of the camera in Seattle.

"We're past that now, Gibby," said Carly. "Keep up."

"I'll tell you later," Freddie said to Gibby. "Anybody have any other questions before we get started?"

"Anyone want anything from Amazing Glaze?" Spencer said in Seattle. "I think I might--"

"Any questions about iCarly?" Freddie emphasized.

"Would it go bad in priority mail?" Sam pondered. Because Freddie wasn't the boss of her.

"There are perfectly good doughnuts over at the local religious bakery," Freddie said, making assumptions about what Jeff, God of Biscuits actually was. "And I said only questions about the broadcast!"

"If she feeds you to a lion," said Gibby, "Do I get to say 'five, four, three, two. . . .'?"
