Dite's Decadent Delights, Monday
The display from last week was going to have to stay the way it was. Karla's gotten back from New Gotham with a lot to think about. And since introspection was pretty much all she was good for today, she decided to pair it up with some mindless cleaning so she could brood and still be useful.
She was pretty sure she wasn't cut out to be a superhero. At least, not the kind that Blossom and Black Canary were.
Sometimes it was easy to forget she and her friends came from very different worlds. Other times, it was like a wall between them.

After a four second internal debate about whether she should tell him the price of the corset--and reluctantly deciding no, not to tease--she propped her hand in her chin and asked, "Is this about the display?"
