The first thing Jack did when he got to work today was to make a lot of noise rattling about the wastebaskets, file cabinets, and anyplace else where gremlins might be expected to lurk, in hopes of flushing them out.
None appeared, though he could swear he heard disembodied giggling from ... somewhere.
That done, he settled in for some computer work. Mostly he was searching through legal databases, but he spent some time reading Lifehacker. Apparently there was a lot he needed to do to improve his phone.
