Plus column: Bo was human again.

Well. Bo was human-shaped again, and she had legs that were human-shaped again, and those legs had boots that were human-shaped again, so no one had to die.

Minus column: her favorite Hot-Girl-I-Can't-Sleep-With-But-It-Won't-Stop-Me-From-Flirting had skipped town and wasn't here to admire them.

Sigh. Tonight's borderline-illegal skirt was for Isabela anyway.

While Guy did spend most of his time hanging out with women who work skin-tight spandex and clothing that shouldn't work on anyone who had to contend with the laws of physics, that was still a short skirt.

And he did have eyes.

"Good evening."

Guy, eyes up at her face.

"I think you left your skirt at home," Eric commented as he wandered in after sunset.

That wasn't a complaint.

He wasn't a pony! He was, in fact, playing with his new phone.

Turned out that pony hooves and an iPhone were a bad combination. Who knew?

"Hey, look, it's that guy named.... what was your name again?" Bo grinned, because really, that was the intended effect of the skirt; she'd have to be contrary as hell to take it as an insult, and she wasn't.

"You had it for a moment there," he said, glancing up after a moment with a grin. "Guy."

Awwwwww. Now I feel guilty.

*sneaks in icon for you*

Bo looked down. "Well, there's something on my ass, and I don't own any leather underwear." Chafing. Ow.

No guilt! Just a farewell tribute!

A new bar! Ooh, Ronan thought as he wandered in, and this one had a dance floor.

"Can I get a pint?" Ronan asked. "Guinness."

Yeah, and then he noticed the skirt; that was a moment to appreciate it, although he tried to keep the ogling to a minimum.

"Probably good," Eric said. "I lived through the hides-as-pants era. It wasn't pretty."

And it is much appreciated! Isabela will miss those boots. <333

"Gee, you'd think I would remember that." She'd totally remembered that; it was just fun to mess with him. "What can I get you, guy named Guy?"

"I guess I didn't make enough of an impression." Yeah, that wasn't cheesy or anything. "A beer. That's not in a saucer."

Goddamn ponies.

And once again a man in a black suit and sunglasses appeared at the table.

"Mr. Northman," K said in his usual dry manner. "The United States Postal Service has a package to be delivered to you. I trust you have the required identification."

"I've missed seeing you," Eric said, holding out his ID.

"One pint of Guinness, coming up." Easy one, nor was the drinker hard on the eyes; Bo smiled and reached for a glass. "You're Irish, right?" Hard to mistake the accent when you knew one. "I'm guessing from the clothes that you didn't wander over from Regency England, though."

"Less pretty than the bell-bottoms era?" It was weird to think she knew more than one person who'd lived through that, let alone hides.

"Yes, you looked particularly heartbroken," K said in an off-hand manner as he once AGAIN checked Eric's ID. Because that's only happened a few times before. "Perhaps when it gets to be your birthday more people will mail you gifts."

He then produced a clipboard and pen. "Please sign at the X if you don't mind."

"Ta, thanks," Ronan said. "And is that where we are? I had wondered -- I do remember the island generally being a bit more modern, but then I have been gone for a while.

"Ronan Nolan, at your service -- and Irish, yes. County Wicklow, to be precise, although I haven't actually lived there for... five years?"

Something like that, anyway; it got complicated with time travel.

"Different kinds of chafing," Eric overshared.

"I prefer to think of that as tribute," Eric said, signing his name with a flourish.
