Barbeque in the Park [Tuesday Afternoon]
After a fun and interesting class that included hunting, Seifer had headed back over to the mainland with Hyperion, and had carved up his kill and a few others that were still around. It had taken several trips to haul it all back to the park, even with Ifrit's help. After the last load was brought back, he made a short trip to T&C to pick up supplies, then he was back at the park.
It didn't take long for him to have a fire pit set up and a merry fire going, with huge chunks of meat roasting on the spit above the flames. Seifer himself was kicked back, beer in hand, enjoying the warmth.
Sometimes, having a huge beast looking Guardian Force hanging around. Even if he was still lounging by the fire, waiting for his dinner as well.
[[Barbeque time. Don't mind Ifrit, he'll just glare at you and keep the fire going and the meat from being burnt.]]

Sorry, Jack just spotted Ifrit.

"That's Ifrit. He's cranky." Yes, that was Seifer's explanation.

Jack was quite the diplomat.
"Where'd you get all of this? I teach a cooking class, you know."
Be afraid of how Jack's mind might work here.

He used Hyperion to pull a chunk of the beef from the fire and grinned. "This batch looks about done."
Well, if your idea of done was still bloody but warm.

She nodded to the guy from her class. "Hey, good idea."

He hadn't skinned anything, mostly because he sort of sucked at that.

"I kind of miss fresh caught meat. And I haven't had buffalo in ages. The skin will make a great coat or throw robe or something. Charles made me crazy making me learn all this stuff, but it's sure coming in handy here."

Ifrit didn't look too happy at being a pack mule again.

Because nothing says 'I miss annoying you' like a mammoth skull over your bed.

"I like it here better," was his explanation.

She raised one eyebrow when she caught sight of Ifrit. "That's different."

Seifer cocked his head and grinned. "Yeah, but he's a decent one. Sometimes. He's a bit pissy because I won't let him trash anything."
The rude gesture Ifrit aimed at Seifer was totally the blond's fault.

"Well, his idea of trashing things involves crushed buildings and lots of fire," Seifer muttered. "And I like this place."
no subject
Because that idea couldn't go wrong. At all.

Seifer shivered a bit as the heat seemed to leech away from his part of the fire, but he manfully ignored it. "Those two are such joy kills sometimes."
