Nathan was distracted tonight. That was good news for Tino since that meant he wasn't going to bear the brunt of being Nathan's entertainment. That was bad news for the booze since Nathan was sucking it down like candy.

Tino was giving him an ample vomit zone and making sure he wasn't paying much attention to Nathan because he didn't want to be tasked with clearing up any puke that wasn't his. He had priorities.

Alex had been to Caritas in a while and since she was leaving at the end of the week, she figured it was now or never. She made her way over to the bar and took a seat. Now, if she could only figure out what she wanted to drink. Decisions, decisions.

"You look like you're ten," Nathan said once he noticed someone was at the bar and Tino was keeping his distance. "I don't think I'm supposed to serve infants."

"Thanks, I think?" Yeah, Alex knew she looked young. Apparently, she'd appreciate it when she was older or something to that effect. Yeah, right. "I'm actually eighteen, believe it or not. Leaving the island at the end of the week."

No, she didn't want to leave. If she had a say, she'd be sticking around.

Nathan tried to gesture her to elaborate. "Okay, have you ever ordered a drink before? I'm gonna need some specifics here because I could pour dish soap in a glass and call it a drink. You're just embarrassing me here."

"As appetizing as dish soap sounds, I think I'll pass on that one," Alex replied. "Would you be offended if I ordered one of those fruity drinks people always make fun of?"
